We’re very excited to be joining forces with RocketHub in order to take our insectoid project to the next stage in its development. Get it, bugs…development stages…sorry. Bug humour.
But our key to success in this and future endeavours will hinge greatly on generating the support of our audience, and potential partners in the industry. Our efforts with the RocketHub campaign will result in the next installment in The Underground series, “Bad Seeds” as well as our very first table top game “Colonies”. It’s a really exciting time for us, as this will give a small sampling of the massive marketing, merchandising, and branding potential of The Underground. We’ve got lots planned as the campaign continues to keep you informed on our progress, so stay tuned and spread the word, it’s bound to be an awesome ride!
So how can you support? Well there are three main ways that you can show your support for The Underground project and help us reach our goal by July 31st.
1. Spread the Word!
The more people who know about us and our efforts the better. We’re raising awareness of a local project, a lifelong dream, and over ten years of hard work. Tell a friend, or share a link (We’ve included some important ones at the bottom of this post). We’ve also got promotional booklets, which are a really cool way of introducing others to The Underground. They’re free, and if you’d like some to hand out to your friends and acquaintances shoot us a message and we’ll work it out.
2. Get Some Goods!
At this point we’ve got printed copies of The Underground #1 ‘Harvest’, The Underground #0 ‘Unearthed’, and from the original Underground series issue #3 ‘Blood, War, Lies, and Deception’. For the duration of the RocketHub campaign we’ll be dedicating funds generated from book sales directly to the campaign’s financial goal. So if there’s a book you’re missing, or you’ve got a friend who would enjoy the series pick up a copy. Just shoot us a message, and we’ll get you the goods. Prices are listed below, quantities on issue #0, and #3 are limited.

3. Contribute
We’ve got until July 31st to raise $10,000, so every penny counts. We’ve set up a tiered reward system for our contributors, with benchmarks starting at $20.00. We’ll be sending out signed books and games at each benchmark, but there is a custom contribution option if you’d contribute in some other amount. All of the information on contributions, and the ‘goods’ can be found on our RocketHub project page.
We appreciate the support of our friends, our family, and community. We’ve been truly privileged already to have the pleasure in working with Hugin & Munin, FangasmTv, Oliver Signs, Pulp Comics, Border City Comics, and many more independent businesses & entrepeneurs. It is often said that it takes a village to raise a child, well the same can be said about our project. It has been a dream of mine since I was sixteen years old, and finally the pieces are in place to make it a reality. I just need my village behind me.
