My name is Paul Reaume, I am the creator and artist behind The Underground.  I have been an artist for as long as I could hold up a pencil, and The Underground specifically is a concept that I developed more than fifteen years ago whiled attending high school.  Over the years I have pushed myself to continuously  hone my skills, learning from the examples of such greats as Todd McFarlane, Greg Capullo, David Finch, and Joe Madureira.

Years have passed since the days of my wide-eyed teenage wonder.  I’ve self-published one issue of The Underground, a second issue was printed as a finalist in the 2009 Small Press Idol, and today it is being produced as a webcomic with my writing partner Dave Rocha.  In this time I’ve managed to begin raising a family of my own, and maintain full-time employment (not nearly as exciting as comic art!).  Still, my faith and determination in this project remains unwavered, and I present to you today a proposal for The Underground’s future.  It is an epic tale of microscopic proportions.  It is a story of insects…insects with attitude.
