“Loss” has put us behind one release date. Everything else will be coming out as per the schedule just one date back. Today’s release will be on Thursday etc…

Much is going on in The Underground

Being prepped for posting is much new content including the highly anticipated Bad Seeds page 9.

We will also be unveiling our first short story, “A Tragic Loss” by Dave Rocha and Paul Reaume. A Tragic Loss will follow the exploits of the heroic Styx just prior to the events in #1 Harvest. Due to it being a prequel it is the perfect jump in point for new readers.

“Loss” will also be the debut of the fearsome Termite Union. Come join us!

Insect-O-Fact #11 B: Some Kings

Termite Colonies will often have a King, to some extent.  Instead of disappearing, and presumably dying after the nuptial flight, Termite Kings will stay with the Queen continuing to mate.  With each spawning of new eggs for the colony, the Queen becomes more fertile.  So the King in fact serves a valuable role in the preservation of the colony, as there is typically only one fertile male on hand at any given time.  In The Underground, Queen Rhi Mei of the Termite Union rules without her King, and thus she is visibly smaller when compared to the other Termite Queens.
