The war of 1812 was small in scale but the reasons for war were far from it.
Each character represented here had many reasons for being involved from fighting to protect their homeland, adopted homeland or areas for future settlement to financial reasons or just to assert their sovereignty.
Every one was meticulously researched and where possible real life portraits were referenced. For those who never had their likeness captured for future generations, great care was taken to have their clothing and physical characteristics simulated as closely as possible.
Each is listed under the most appropriate faction.
