Hello and welcome Twisted Fans to the first of our on-going newsletter series, Twisted Features. Our community, local businesses, and economy and the strength of which is extremely important, so we’d like to take a few moments each week to discuss and celebrate some of the exciting things going on around us.
Bone-Chilling savings are the theme of the week at Prime Lighting Design, as they roll out their “Bats in the Belfry” promotion. The lighting store has drastically reduced the prices on retired industry favourites, but quantities are limited so hurry in. Check out Prime’s website for more information on this jaw-dropping event.
Carrying on the spooky nature of things, Twisted Studio will be spotlighting local webcast series, Horror 101. Windsor’s own horror expert, Cash Wampum has made a name for himself summarizing and critiquing scary films new and old. Check back in to the Studio site tomorrow to learn more about this awesome local series.
The chills don’t stop there, of course! Starting Friday, October 26th, Theatre Windsor will be hosting a haunted house at Tecumseh Mall. Theatre Windsor is a local non-profit organization with a history of spooking residents. A recommended donation of $2 will be accepted as admission, and we’ll be sure to post more information as opening night lurks closer.
Coming up on Thursday, Twisted Studio’s own, Dave Rocha will be posting his informative essay on the war of 1812. His carefully thought-out piece will be examining the age-old question of who truly won Canada’s forgotten war.
That’s it for our Twisted Features this week, but keep checking into the site as we continue to polish things up, and dust out the corners.
Onwards & Upwards
